    Our Story

    A Gujarati kitchen in Meena Bazaar

    Gujarati Thal was started by Dharmesh Patel — a B.Pharm graduate from Gujarat who now calls Dubai home — with one simple idea: a thali that tastes like home, at a price you can eat every day.

    Today the restaurant feeds office-goers, families, students and visiting yatris from early morning to past midnight, and Dharmesh shares the kitchen's day-to-day with a community of 17,000+ food lovers on Instagram.
